Our garden is a large field behind our house. It has a magnificent view. It is a good place to linger under a parasol or in the hammock under the cherrytree or the oaktree with a cool drink and a good book.
We have planted several trees. Every year it is exiting to see who gets the appels, us or the birds....
We have an organic vegetable and herb garden. Everything we grow is pure and without chemicals. The most delicious tomatoes, courgettes, green and yellow beans, radishes, salades, basil, parsley, dille, chives, thyme, rosemary, .... there are too many to mention all of them.
Most of the field is natural grass which needs mowing frequently. We mow around the wild flowers. When the field is full of wild Margarets we mow around them, creating paths inbetween. |
